The
Basic plan can be used for sites that have no database and for sites developed
using ActionBuilder and ASAP.
For
sites that requires Access DB the Standard plan will suffice.
For
sites that requires SQL the Premium plan will suffice.
The selection of database depends on the
function of the site. We strongly recommend that MS SQL database be use for site
that does e-commerce transaction (such as payments, orders etc.), for sites that
collects confidential info such as credit card and other private info.
For sites that has easily replaced and non
confidential data then Access database be used.
Access database is stored
along with the site while MS SQL database is stored on an external server that
is only accessiable via the site code. This security enhancement along
transaction logs and database backups every 30 minutes in addition to tne many
technical advantages further makes MS SQL and ideal choice for e-commerce
sites.
