E-Suite Installation

Root Folder
Here is the steps for E-Suite Installation:

1. Database and Connection String

You must restore the database and get the database name, database server IP, user and password if any.

Then open web.config at the root path

Change the value of data source with the database server’s name/ ip

Change the value of initial catalog with the database name

Change the user ID with database user and change the password

2. Editor and Site Path

Still on web.config file, please focus the setting below:

<add key="RootFilePath" value="/esuite/" />

<add key="ServerPath" value="http://localhost:1100/esuite/" />

For example your live site is:


Here are the right values:

<add key="RootFilePath" value="/" />

<add key="ServerPath" value="http://www.ajubile.com/" />

More example if your live site is:


Here are the right values:

<add key="RootFilePath" value="/ajubile/" />

<add key="ServerPath" value="http://www1.staging.com/ajubile/" />

3. Memory and Session Time out

Pool memory is also important here for E-Suite setting. So please set:

virtual:   800 MB

physical: 300 MB

Please set session time out to 20 minutes

Connection Time out is 1200 seconds

Ensure the web.config has the below setting:

<sessionState mode="InProc" cookieless="false" timeout="60"/>

4. Site Setting

Please enter the admin site:

For example you url is: http://www.ajubile.com/  then type this to enter admin site: http://www.ajubile.com/admin/

Now please enter the admin account! (Please contact GWS if you not received yet about the admin account!)

Please click the site manager menu!

Fill the information of site name, email address, and your url site with your site information.

5. Permission

E-Suite has feature to create/edit/delete and upload file. So this is the permission that need to set up:

-          We need to give the permission to “User” and “Network Services”

-          For “Modify” permission we need give to:

a.        “Root”

b.      “Dynamicdata” folder

c.       “Product/Images” folder

d.      “Product/ProductImages” folder

e.      “Offer/Images” folder

f.        “News/Images” folder

g.       “Photos/Images” folder

h.      “Events/Images” folder

i.         “Advancebanner/Images” folder

j.        “Banner/Images” folder

k.       “Admin/Emailer/Attach” folder

-          For the other folders, we need give “Read & Execute” permission
